SiC-DPF offers excellent high-temperature resistance (up to 1700°C), making it ideal for heavy-duty diesel applications. Its superior thermal conductivity ensures efficient regeneration, even under high soot loads. Though heavier and more costly than some alternatives, it provides unmatched durability for demanding environments like mining and long-haul transport. Compatible with catalytic coatings, it meets strict emission standards (Euro VI/China VI).

    DPF Installation

    A DPF is installed between an engine and a muffler to remove suspended particulate matter (SPM) from diesel engine exhaust gas.

    The working principle of the particulate trap: By alternately blocking both ends of the pores of the honeycomb porous ceramic, the ceramic wall is used to filter and remove PM.
